Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari
exited Monday's game against the Houston Rockets after suffering a chip
fracture in his left ankle.
The injury came with 9:38 left in the third. From the left wing, Gallinari
drove into the paint and appeared to go for a pull-up jumper, but he rolled
his left ankle badly while being fouled by Chandler Parsons on the play.
Gallinari stayed in the contest and made both foul shots before exiting.
An x-ray revealed the injury and Gallinari will have a CT scan done on his
ankle Tuesday.
