With six at home, Campbell hopes to build off winning season

Buies Creek, NC (Sports Network) - Campbell University will play six home games in 2012 as it tries to build off its first winning season as an FCS program.

Last year, the Camels finished 6-5 under coach Dale Steele in their fourth season since reinstating the program.

Campbell will kick off the season by hosting a pair of non-FCS programs, Shorter on Aug. 30 and Virginia-Wise on Sept. 8. The Camels' other home games are within the Pioneer Football League against Drake (Sept. 29), Davidson (Oct. 20), Valparaiso (Nov. 3) and Marist (Nov. 17).

The Camels will play a non-conference game at Old Dominion (Sept. 15) and road games at PFL members Butler (Sept. 22), San Diego (Oct. 13), Morehead State (Oct. 27) and Jacksonville (Nov. 10).
