St. Louis, MO (KSDK)- St. Louis Police are investigating the circumstances of a fatal jump from a high rise parking garage in the Central West End on Memorial Day.
Officers responded to the complex in the 4500 block of Children's Way before 8:00a.m. this morning and found the man on the ground and obviously injured.
Witnesses told investigators the unidentified victim apparently jumped from the structure and struck a large metal awning which leads to the public elevators at the garage.
Police arrived and located the man on the ground below the awning. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
